The WoW Nighthold Boost clears all 10 bosses of the Legion raid, Gul'dan last, as many times as you set on the slider, from 1 to 100. It is the place to farm two Gul'dan mounts, the Fiendish Hellfire Core and the Living Infernal Core. Work usually starts within 15–30 minutes after your booster is assigned.

What Is The Nighthold in WoW?

The Nighthold is a Legion raid with 10 bosses and Gul'dan as the final encounter. Collectors know it for two mounts from that last fight: the Living Infernal Core, which can drop on Normal, Heroic and Mythic, and the Fiendish Hellfire Core, which only Mythic Gul'dan drops. Blizzard publishes no drop rates for either.

A level 90 character runs it with Legacy Loot Mode, active for all instances through Dragonflight, so every boss rolls loot for a full raid. That turns the Nighthold into a fast source of class set appearances as well.

Nighthold Boost Goals and Add-ons

  • Raid runs: pick from 1 to 100 clears on the slider. Each clear can carry the Fiendish Hellfire Core or Living Infernal Core add-on.
  • Fiendish Hellfire Core (mount): a Gul'dan farm built around the Mythic mount, with the Living Infernal Core as an extra.
  • Glory of the Legion Raider: the calculator lists 16 achievements, from Cage Rematch to I've Got My Eyes On You; order all or only the gaps.
  • All 4 transmog sets: every difficulty look, LFR to Mythic, or just selected slots.

The mount add-ons are the priciest parts of the order. Piloted, Self Play and Remote Control are available for every goal.

Farming the Hellfire Core With a Carry

Since the mount has no published rate, the honest offer is kills, not a promise. The Fiendish Hellfire Core goal keeps Gul'dan dying on Mythic with your character in the raid. Pair it with a high clear count if you want more attempts in one order. Your booster agrees the schedule of those clears with you.

How Fast a Nighthold Run Starts

Once the manager assigns a booster, work usually begins within 15–30 minutes. How long the whole order takes depends on the number of clears, and the booster confirms it in the chat.

Other Legion raids sit close by: the Tomb of Sargeras boost, the 3-boss Trial of Valor run and the Emerald Nightmare run. The full list sits on the legacy raid hub.

Frequently asked questions

Which difficulty drops the Fiendish Hellfire Core?

Only Mythic Gul'dan. The Living Infernal Core can drop from Gul'dan on Normal, Heroic and Mythic.

Is the mount guaranteed?

No. Blizzard publishes no drop rate, so we sell Gul'dan kills. More clears mean more chances.

When does my Nighthold boost start?

Usually within 15–30 minutes after the manager assigns your booster.

How long will 20 clears take?

That depends on the schedule you agree with your booster. The booster confirms the timing for your order in the chat.
