Overview

Buy WoW Forever Leatherworking Boost when you would rather wear leather and mail than stitch hundreds of throwaway pieces to get there. Hides are collected or taken from your bank, cured, sewn into whatever gives a skill point, and the counting stops at the figure in your order.

The listing sells three separate brackets — 1–150, 150–225, 225–300 — and a full 1–300 run. Tick Skinning and that gathering skill climbs next to the craft. Patterns learned from the trainer stay known, and the armor pieces and kits made on the way are yours to use, sell or hand to guildmates.

What’s included

You receive

  • Leatherworking at 150, 225 or 300 on your character, as chosen in the calculator
  • Trainer ranks up to the one your bracket ends in (300 at most)
  • Trainer patterns picked up during the climb remain learned on your Forever character
  • Leather armor pieces and Armor Kits produced while climbing, deposited in your inventory or bank vault
  • With the Skinning add-on: Skinning leveled over the same skill range
  • Spare hides and cured leather from the hunt, handed over once the Leatherworking target stands
  • Legacy Points at each of the 3 skill marks, assuming the datamined milestone list goes live

Before you order

  • Account with a WoW subscription or Game Time
  • Region and faction, plus your ruleset — Normal, PvP or Roleplaying
  • The class and the two name halves of the future leatherworker
  • An unused primary slot if you start at 1; the Skinning add-on occupies the other unless Skinning is known already
  • Current Leatherworking skill of 150 or 225 for the two later brackets
  • Levels that satisfy the trainer and let the character hunt where suitable beasts roam; Blizzard has not revealed the exact thresholds

Why a leatherworker needs a camp in Forever

Camping is the new social system of WoW Forever, and no trade is tied to it as tightly as this one. Each trade is given a set of three camp objects. Trainers and camping NPCs hand out the starter one at 20 skill; the two better ones have to be built from Blueprints, and those are boss loot in dungeons. For most trades a camp object is a buff station. Leatherworkers are the exception: Blizzard lists the Tanning Rack as mandatory for advanced recipes, so lacking one means those patterns stay uncraftable.

That changes what "finished" means. A skill of 300 opens the recipe book, and the camp decides how much of it you can use. The sensible order is therefore: get the skill out of the way quickly, then spend your own dungeon time chasing Blueprints. This listing handles the first half.

What the WoW Forever Leatherworking Boost covers — and what it leaves to you

Covered: the skill number. You choose 1–150, 150–225, 225–300 or Leatherworking 1-300 WoW Forever as a single run, and crafting continues until your target appears in the trade window. Trainer patterns are learned as they become available, crafted pieces stay with you, and material you already own is used before anything is farmed.

Left to you: Blueprints, because they are boss drops and nobody can promise a drop; recipes from vendors, reputations or the world; and the decision between the focuses described below. Cost follows the bracket width and the add-on. Hours or days are absent from this page on purpose: Forever's patterns and their material bills are still under wraps.

Hides first: the Skinning add-on

Leather does not come from nodes. It comes from beasts that have to be killed and skinned, in zones that fit both the character's level and the skill range. With the add-on the booster levels Skinning during those same kills, in the open world of your ruleset and on your faction's side. In early footage skinners also hit Beasts and Dragonkin harder and occasionally pull rare hides — details that may change. Without the add-on the hides are still obtained for the climb — you simply do not end up with the gathering skill.

Early footage: kits, mounted speed, two focuses

Recordings of the BlizzCon build show WoW Forever Leatherworking with Armor Kits, an effect on mounted speed and a Dragonscale or Elemental focus. All of that counts as shown in early footage and may change before release. None of it is sold here as a deliverable; it is mentioned so you know why the trade is attracting hunters, shamans, druids and rogues who plan to raid from December 9.

Ordering steps and launch timing

Once the calculator is set and the payment made, vetted boosters get to see the job. Acceptance by one of them unlocks a conversation between you, that leatherworker and SkillCarry support — the right place to bring up stored leather or a focus you prefer. WoW Forever Leatherworking leveling is tied to the game's opening, November 4, 2026; if Blizzard reschedules, the start slides along and your purchase is untouched. The job closes with uploaded evidence of the final number, followed by 72 hours in which you approve or dispute it. Jobs nobody has accepted yet can be called off, money back entirely.

Details the checkout form asks for

Forever pins a character down through region, ruleset, faction, class and a name split in two, and those are precisely the blanks on the form. Game Time or a subscription must be live on the account. A WoW Forever Leatherworking Boost begun at 1 takes up an empty primary slot, and the add-on claims the other. If you are comparing this Classic Plus Leatherworking boost with other trades, the overview is on the Forever profession services hub. A WoW Forever Leatherworking Boost can also be split: one bracket now, the next after your character has gained levels.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Tanning Rack included in the order?

What you buy is a number in the trade window; camp gear is a separate matter. Blizzard has described the trio — a starter piece from trainers at 20 skill, two upgrades from boss-dropped Blueprints — without saying which slot the Tanning Rack fills. Should it be the starter piece, ask and the booster learns it for you. Should it need a Blueprint, luck decides, and luck is not for sale.

Do I have to send leather before the booster starts?

No. The default is that hides are gathered on your character as part of the order. If your bank already holds leather or hides, tell the booster in the order chat and that stock is used first, which shortens the farm. Unspent hides are yours when the job ends.

Should I choose Dragonscale or Elemental before ordering?

You do not need to. A Dragonscale and an Elemental focus appeared in early footage, and Blizzard has not explained how or when they are chosen in Forever. The booster does not commit your character to either one on their own initiative. Once the rules are public you can still give an instruction in the order chat if the choice falls inside your bracket.

What happens to the armor crafted during leveling?

It is stored on the character, overflowing into the bank vault if necessary. Most of it is low-level leather gear and armor kits with little use for a level 60 character, but it can be sold, disenchanted by a friend or passed to alts. The booster does not vendor or mail anything away without your say-so.

Can Skinning be added later instead of now?

Skinning as an add-on only exists inside this listing, at the moment of ordering, because it is leveled during the same beast farm. If you decide later, the gathering skill has its own separate card in the professions section. Taking both together is the efficient variant, since every kill then feeds two skill bars at once.

Does my ruleset matter for a leather order?

It decides where the hunting takes place. Normal, PvP and Roleplaying each form a closed world per region, and hides are always collected in the customer's own world, on the customer's own faction. Under PvP rules rival players may fight over beast spawns, which can stretch an identical bracket.
