What Is Mogu'shan Vaults in WoW?
Mogu'shan Vaults, often shortened to MSV, is the opening raid of Mists of Pandaria with 6 bosses. Its best-known prize is the Astral Cloud Serpent, a mount that drops from Elegon. Today the vaults are a legacy raid: a max-level character enters with Legacy Loot Mode, which is on for every instance through Dragonflight, so bosses roll the loot table meant for a full raid.
That makes MSV a wardrobe and collection stop. Its achievements also feed Glory of the Pandaria Raider, the meta that rewards the Heavenly Crimson Cloud Serpent.
What Your MSV Boost Can Include
- Raid run: one full clear on Normal or Heroic. Heroic costs more and shows the Heroic look of the gear.
- Glory achievement: all 6 listed achievements or a single one, such as Show Me Your Moves! or Straight Six. Each single pick is priced on its own.
- Transmog set farm: the full class set or chosen slots from head to back.
- Weapon transmog: an add-on for weapon appearances on top of any goal.
Piloted, Self Play and Remote Control are all available.
Astral Cloud Serpent and the Glory Meta
Elegon dies in every clear, so each run is one roll at the Astral Cloud Serpent. Blizzard does not publish its drop rate, and the card does not promise the mount. One detail for meta hunters: the calculator still lists Getting Hot In Here, but it was removed from the criteria of Glory of the Pandaria Raider, so the meta no longer needs it. The Glory of the Pandaria Raider boost covers the full meta across all three Pandaria raids.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get the Astral Cloud Serpent from this boost?
Each clear kills Elegon, which gives your character one roll at the mount. Blizzard publishes no drop rate, so the mount is a chance, not a promise.
Does Getting Hot In Here still count for the Glory meta?
No. It was removed from Glory of the Pandaria Raider. You can still order it on its own, but the meta does not need it.
When can my MSV run start?
After the manager assigns your booster, you pick the start time together in the order chat.
How long does the boost take?
It depends on the goal and the number of achievements. Your booster confirms the time for the exact order in the chat.
