What Is a Mythic Keystone in WoW Midnight?
A Mythic Keystone turns a Mythic dungeon into a timed run with a level. Each level adds difficulty and affixes: Lindormi's Guidance at +2 is gone from +6, Xal'atath's Bargain joins at +5, Fortified or Tyrannical at +7, both from +10, and at +12 the Bargain is replaced by Xal'atath's Guile. The level also sets the reward, from Hero gear in the chest to a Myth choice in the Great Vault.
Players buy single keys for different goals: one +10 for the Vault, a +12 or +13 to push rating toward Keystone Legend, or a level that matches what their own group plans to run this week.

Item level stops rising at +10. Keys above it are bought for rating, achievements and the challenge of the higher affixes, not for a bigger chest.
Which Key to Buy for Your Goal
- +6 to +9: cheap Hero-track pieces and Hero crests, with Myth crests starting at +9.
- +10: the 311 chest and 318 Vault choice in one key.
- +12 and up: rating for Keystone Legend (3000), which Wowhead puts at about timed +12/+13 keys.
To reach a fixed number instead of a fixed key, the Mythic+ rating boost plans the keys for you, and the Keystone Legend boost ends on the Breath of Ruin mount. If you want your own key raised, see the M+ key upgrade.
Every level comes in three play modes: Self Play keeps you in the key, Piloted lets a booster play your character, and Remote Control has the booster run it from your PC via Parsec.
