What Are Battlegrounds in AION 2?

The battleground of AION 2 is Arena of Tactics, listed in the game menu as the Battlefield. It is a 10v10 objective mode that opens at level 45, and at launch it runs on the map Odyle Shard Cradle. Gear and skills are equalised for the match, so the result comes down to play and teamwork rather than item level.

Solo players and groups of five queue separately, and the queue opens in two windows a day. Every match pays 1,000 Abyss Points and a medal; a win pays 3,000 AP and 2 medals. The win reward is paid for 3 wins a week; after that, wins still count for your order and pay the match reward.

What the 10v10 PvP Boost Delivers

How to Buy Battleground Wins

Choose Piloted, Remote Control or Self Play. With Piloted or Remote Control the booster plays your character; Self Play costs the most of the three. The first match is played about 30 minutes after payment for the wins clears, as long as a battleground window is open; otherwise the booster queues at the next window. Play ends when the win count is reached. A small order is done in about 4–6 hours, and every Abyss Point and medal earned in the matches stays on your character. With Self Play you queue in the same windows, so plan your free time around them.
