What Are Empyrean Traces in AION 2?
Empyrean Traces are small collectibles hidden all over your faction's map, and players usually call them feathers. Verteron and Altgard hold 560 each. You turn them in at the Monolith of your region, which has 30 levels: 80 Traces reach level 10, 255 reach level 20 and all 560 reach level 30. Every Monolith level pays one amulet enhance scroll, so a full Monolith means 30 scrolls for your amulet.
The Monolith level is shared by your characters on the same server. Fill it once, and an alt on that server starts with the same progress instead of a blank board.
What the Empyrean Traces Boost Covers
| Traces turned in | Monolith level | Amulet enhance scrolls |
|---|---|---|
| 80 | 10 | 10 |
| 255 | 20 | 20 |
| 560 | 30 | 30 |
This card is the all-Traces order: the booster collects every one of the 560 feathers on the map you picked with the faction switch and turns them in. If you only need part of the board, power leveling sells 140 Traces as an add-on to the climb.
Timing and Options of the Feathers Farm
A booster starts about 30 minutes after the order, and the full map takes about 1–2 days. The Main Story Quest add-on finishes the campaign in the same run, which suits a character that is still mid-story in Verteron or Altgard. With Extra Kinah, the booster also farms 5M, 10M or 15M Kinah for you on the way. Pay a little more for Express, and the order jumps to maximum priority from start to finish.
The order runs with Piloted or Remote Control, and a live stream lets you watch the Monolith fill up.
Buy Empyrean Traces with the Rest of the Map
Traces sit in the same zones as the green quests and the one-time solo instances. Pair this order with the regional quests for their Wisdom Stones and Daevanion Crystals, or with Sealed Dungeons for more crystals. All leveling services are collected in the AION 2 leveling hub.
Frequently asked questions
When can you start collecting Traces?
About 30 minutes after the order. With Express, the order gets maximum priority for start and completion.
How long does it take to collect all 560?
About 1–2 days for the whole map of your faction.
Are Empyrean Traces the same as feathers?
Yes. Feathers is the player name for Empyrean Traces. Ordering a feathers boost here means all 560 Traces on your map.
Does my second character get the Monolith too?
The Monolith level is shared by your characters on the same server, so an alt on that server keeps the progress.
