WoW Cutting Edge Boost: Mythic Ula'tek Before Season 2 Closes
Our WoW Cutting Edge Boost puts your character into a 20-player Mythic group for the closing encounter of The Venomous Abyss. The achievement appears the moment Ula'tek dies, and nobody can earn it once the next season opens.
Overview
Buy WoW Cutting Edge Boost and your hero joins a Mythic raid that ends Ula'tek, the eighth encounter and last of The Venomous Abyss. That kill alone awards Cutting Edge: Ula'tek. Loot is handled as Full priority, meaning Mythic items from this encounter are handed to you with no rolling against raiders.
Two methods exist. Self-play keeps you at your own keyboard during the pull; Remote lets one of our raiders drive your client over a remote-desktop link while you watch. A personal stream of the fight is available as an add-on. Expect the start roughly four days (about 96 hours) after ordering.

How it works
Customer reviews
What the Cutting Edge feat actually proves
Blizzard awards Cutting Edge only for beating a raid's final boss on Mythic while that raid is the current tier. In Midnight Season 2 the requirement boils down to one encounter: Ula'tek, deep inside The Venomous Abyss. Heroic victories, however clean, do not qualify, which is why far fewer armory profiles show this feat than show Ahead of the Curve. When the following season begins, it is removed from play, and everyone who already earned it keeps it as a Feat of Strength.
For many players the appeal is that record. Recruiters for progression guilds look for it, pug leaders glance at it before sending invites, and it tells anyone inspecting you that you were present for a current-tier Mythic finale.
How a WoW Cutting Edge Boost order unfolds
- Checkout. Choose Self-play or Remote, tick the stream if you want it, and fill in your region, realm and faction.
- Scheduling. We slot your character into an upcoming Mythic night and message you the date; in most cases the start lands within four days.
- Pull night. On Self-play, you come online, join the group and stay where the raid leader positions you. On Remote, our raider takes over your desktop and plays the fight while you can see everything on screen.
- Ula'tek dies. The feat appears, Primeval Skyfriend is added, and boss loot goes straight to your bags.
Self-play or Remote: what changes
| Option | Who controls the character | Fits you when |
|---|---|---|
| Self-play | You, inside the Mythic group | you want to witness the kill firsthand and can be free on raid night |
| Remote | Our raider, working on your own computer | you prefer not to handle Mythic mechanics yourself yet want everything to happen on your machine |
Streaming is its own checkbox and behaves identically with both methods.
Gear and mount from one pull
Everything Ula'tek drops on Mythic carries ilvl 344. Since Full priority is the only loot mode here, nobody else in the group contests those pieces. The encounter also rewards Primeval Skyfriend, this season's mount from the Mythic end boss, and the kill registers toward the raid slots of your weekly Great Vault.
Who books this carry
Most buyers already clear Heroic, own Ahead of the Curve, and have no guild likely to reach the Mythic finale before the tier ends. Others came back to the game after skipping previous Cutting Edge windows, or collect Feats of Strength as a set. Want the seven bosses ahead of Ula'tek on Mythic as well? The parent page for The Venomous Abyss compares full clears with shorter options.
Before you order
Look at your lockout first. Mythic difficulty binds a character to one instance ID each week, so any Mythic kill you already made in The Venomous Abyss this reset pushes the order to the next Tuesday or Wednesday reset. Your hero must be level 90. No further achievements or item level minimums are requested at checkout.
Frequently asked questions
Which kill awards Cutting Edge in Season 2 of Midnight?
Only Ula'tek on Mythic difficulty. He is the eighth and final encounter of The Venomous Abyss, and defeating him while the raid is current grants Cutting Edge: Ula'tek. Earlier Mythic bosses, or beating Ula'tek on Heroic, give other rewards but never this Feat of Strength.
Can I still earn Cutting Edge: Ula'tek after the season ends?
No. Cutting Edge belongs to the current raid tier. As soon as the next season opens, the achievement becomes unobtainable, although anyone who earned it keeps it permanently. Defeating Ula'tek on Mythic later still gives loot, just not the feat.
Do I have to play the Mythic encounter myself?
That depends on your method. With Self-play you are in the group personally and follow basic calls from the raid leader. With Remote, one of our raiders operates your character from your own computer through a remote session, and you can watch every minute.
What loot will my character receive from Ula'tek?
This order uses Full priority, so Mythic items dropping from Ula'tek go to you instead of being split with other raiders. Each piece is ilvl 344. Which exact items appear depends on the boss drop table plus your class and specialization.
Does the order include Primeval Skyfriend?
It does. Primeval Skyfriend comes from Mythic Ula'tek this season, so the kill that grants Cutting Edge also adds the flying mount to your collection. If you only want the mount, the raid hub has a separate listing for it.
Why might my run be rescheduled?
Usually because of a lockout. A character that has already defeated a Mythic boss in The Venomous Abyss this week cannot enter another Mythic group until the reset. Mention any recent Mythic kills when ordering so we can plan the right night.
